Elisabeth Skogland

Elisabeth is a French-Norwegian, self-taught artist. At an early age, she quickly realized that drawing was something she was naturally skilled at. She chose to pursue it and improve her creative talent. Being fascinated by the human body and inspired by Old Master paintings, Elisabeth focused on drawing the human form and honing her skills of realistic depiction. At the age of 17, she ventured into oil painting, which opened a whole new realm to realistically depict men and women. Elisabeth's artworks display her exceptional talent to paint the human anatomy in great detail. Being also passionate about self-realization and esotericism, she has pursued the portrayal of mystical symbolism by combining the skill of the Old Masters with contemporary art.
